Since 1989, Capital Kids Cricket has believed in the power of cricket to do much more than develop players. We use cricket as a platform to inspire, engage and empower people, creating opportunities that extend far beyond the boundary.
Through cricket, life-skills activities, mentoring and community engagement, CKC aims to:
• Improve physical and emotional wellbeing through positive, active participation. • Build confidence, resilience and self-belief, helping young people realise their potential. • Develop life and leadership skills that support education, employment and future opportunities. • Create safe and inclusive spaces where everyone feels welcome, valued and able to participate. • Break down barriers by reaching communities and young people who may have fewer opportunities. • Bring communities together, connecting young people, families, schools, clubs and community organisations. • Create positive pathways from participation into volunteering, leadership, coaching, clubs and wider opportunities.
