WEST HAM AND STRATFORD CC

With assistance from the Lord’s Taverners’ Wicketz programme, the club was founded in 2011 and became the only club within the West Ham, Straford, Plaistow and Green Street area offering colts cricket. The club has since grown considerably and now has two under 11s squads, as well as an under 13s and under 15s squad.

LEYTON WICKETZ CC

In March 2017, Capital Kids Cricket received funding from The Lord’s Taverners to develop a new Wicketz club at Leyton Cricket Ground in Waltham Forest. The ground was once home to Essex County Cricket Club and it hosted their first match in 1885

SPIKES BRIDGE JUNIOR CC

After receiving funding from the John Lyon’s Charity in June 2016, we began work on starting up a junior cricket club at Spikes Bridge Park in Southall. The project, funded for 3 years, has a long-term goal of developing a self-sustaining junior cricket club with girls and boys playing cricket across a range of age groups.

TOWER HAMLETS CC

Tower Hamlets CC and Tower Hamlets Wicketz (the club’s colt’s section) train regularly throuhgout the year as well as playing matches across a range of age groups. Please see below for more details about training.

Leyton Girls CC

Leyton Girls CC, linked to Leyton Wicketz CC, continues to grow each year. With sessions run in local schools and weekly coaching sessions at Leyton throughout the year, numbers are steadily rising
